Order Auto-Fire must be enabled on only one terminal in order for Olo orders to automatically print at designated printers. If both terminals have auto-fire enabled, this will result in duplicate tickets printing since it will fire tickets twice. If no auto fire is selected on either terminal, then Olo orders will not automatically print and will have to be printed manually.
HERE’S HOW TO CHECK FOR ORDER AUTO-FIRE:
On the quick order screen, press the left arrow on the top left of the screen. This will take you to the back-end settings.
From here, scroll all the way down and look for “DEVICE SETUP” and select it:
This will take you to device options. Scroll down and look for the “ORDER AUTO-FIRING” option:
Verify that the secondary register shows “NO” to avoid both terminals enabling auto fire, which will cause duplicate tickets. On the main terminal, go ahead and click on “ASSIGN”. This will assign the terminal as the auto fire device that will automatically print Olo orders.
A small popup will display to confirm. Select “YES, CONTINUE”
Once the Order Auto-Firing option shows “YES”, the register is now ready to automatically print Olo orders:
PLEASE ENSURE THAT ONLY ONE REGISTER AT YOUR LOCATION HAS AUTO FIRE ENABLED. IF BOTH TERMINALS HAVE AUTO FIRE SET TO YES, IT WILL CAUSE DUPLICATE TICKETS.
IF NEITHER OF THE 2 REGISTERS HAVE AUTO FIRE SET TO YES, THEN OLO ORDERS WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY PRINT. PLEASE ENSURE ONLY 1 REGISTER IS SET TO YES UNDER “ORDER AUTO-FIRING” OPTION.
